Graduating at the top of his class at Louisiana State University, James earned the Dean’s Medal in Landscape Architecture. In addition, James won the 'American Society of Landscape Architects' Honor and Merit awards, construction award, technology award, as well as several other awards relating to his field. As a native of Pennsylvania’s Main Line area, he returned to pursue a career in residential landscape construction. After becoming dissatisfied with the production, management, and customer service at his previous employer's company, James took it upon himself to fill a growing need for quality and care. In 2001 James started his own company, Texada Landscaping Inc., and has been growing ever since!
Landscape Architect: Lisa Pond
Initially, Lisa came to the area to work in center city Philadelphia for a Landscape Architecture firm which specialized in master planning and community redevelopment. As time passed Lisa recognized her passion for more intimate projects, most notably, residential design. Lisa was drawn to a local firm in Berwyn where she found the intimate design scale she was searching for, and the satisfaction of exploring her greatest asset, her creativity. Over the years she designed many successful residential projects. Some of grand scale, and many with distinct intricacies. Lisa even designed the under-development of the Norristown Zoo. Ultimately Lisa decided that to truly capitalize on her gift of creativity, and use her vast knowledge of her field, she wanted to actually build and oversee every part of her design.With her experience and your ideas we are excited at the many possible outcomes in the future!
Operations Manager: Jessica Madden
Jessica joined Texada Landscaping in May of 2008. She earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University in 1996. After working for some of the top names in the hospitality industry, Jessica decided to pursue a career that would offer a better quality of life. While still utilizing her accounting, customer service and organizational skills she went to work for a custom home builder acting as the Warranty Manager. After becoming a mom, Jessica, again decided to make a career change and has made Texada Landscaping her home. She wears many hats: scheduling, ordering, pricing, payroll, invoicing, and billing. Her main concern however, is to make sure that our clients are taken care of every step of the way and that no question or concern goes unanswered, no matter if it is the same day as installation or 15 years later.
Superintendent: Rodolfo Vega-Reyes
You will rarely meet an individual with more hands-on experience than Rodolfo. His knowledge and expertise covers almost every possible type of landscape construction that can be performed. In addition to his many physical skills,Rodolfo is bilingual with perfect mastery of both Spanish and the English language. All work and schedules are met under his supervision.
